My Goals and Objectives for 2025

A belated happy new year to all my followers, readers, friends and lovemuffins!

2024 was the year I got my erotica writing ass back into gear and finally published some new work. I make no apologies for allowing life to distract my productivity when it comes to writing erotic fiction—I’m in a far better place personally and professionally than I was back in 2013 when I published my last erotic fiction novella, The Heiress.

The writers amongst us will appreciate it’s not just a case of quickly typing out a story and uploading it to Amazon. I actually started my ‘comeback’ towards the end of the summer last year and it took me until December before I had everything in place to publish The Megan Affair Part Two. There were covers to be designed, social media pages updated, new branding and social media templates; as well as sourcing a new editor and proofreader. Whilst not the easiest part, writing is certainly the most enjoyable aspect of what I do.

As we enter 2025, I have some very clear goals and aspirations to help me along the journey of where I want to get to.

• Focus on productivity. Rather than aim to earn an arbitrary amount of money per month, I’m focusing on output and the results will come.

• Aim to publish six new books this year. Including the Megan Affair Parts three, four and five, as well as a few other ideas I have written out as synopsys. One book every two months is feasible and a realistic timeframe to keep the quality high.

• Write more blog posts.

• Review the books I read. I enjoy sharing my insights into other erotica writers' work. Although I write with a critical pen, I’ll always err on the side of positivity because I appreciate how much work goes into publishing a book. Some reviews will just be on Amazon or Goodreads, but if I have many thoughts to share, I’ll create a blog post like I have done in the past for writers such as Carla Croft.

• Be more active on social media. This is a hard action to balance because it takes up a lot of time, which could be spent writing! However, my biggest goal is to interact with people more and to post content regularly. As a faceless creator (yes, I need to protect my anonymity as I have a very professional job) it’s challenging to create reels, but they’re certainly on my to do list for 2025.

Overall, I just want to do more stuff in 2025. I hope I can get to the end of every day, week and month happy with the effort I’ve put in.
